Thank you for your interest in Stark State College of Technology. Anyone who wishes to further his/her education is welcome at Stark State College of Technology. A candidate working toward an associate degree should be a high school graduate or the equivalent to ensure successful completion of the program. Applications for admission are accepted throughout the year.

  7. A one-time $35 application and a $30 matriculation fee are due at registration.
    The application and matriculation fees cover the cost of applying to the College, student assessment, the creation of a permanent student record and the entering of student information into the College's record-keeping system.
     
  8. Stark State College COMPASS Entrance Assessment – All applicants must complete the math, English, reading and study inventories available through the Student Services Office. Please call the Student Services Office at 330-966-5450 to obtain a testing schedule.
     
  9. High School Transcripts – An official high school transcript must be submitted to the Registration Office to obtain admission to the College. (Where applicable, a final transcript should be sent upon graduation.)
     
  10. Other College Transcripts – Any applicant who attended another college(s) is responsible for contacting all institutions to have official transcripts forwarded to the Registration Office at Stark State College.
     
  11. G.E.D. Scores – The applicant who has taken the G.E.D. test in lieu of graduation from high school must submit a copy of the scores along with an official copy of his/her high school transcript.
